Matthew Knies is more than just a power forward. He’s a young cost controlled top six winger. Every team in the league would wanna acquire a guy like that.
I’m glad Knies still ended up in Toronto. He is a good power forward who can score and make an impact on the game. His stats would even be better if he had first pp minutes.

Go easy. Hughes and Gorton are good at what they do. Are they the second coming? To be determined. Montreal has had one of the best. Sam Pollock. And he even had the odd miscues.
Dude, Huges has said since the beginning they will overpay to get the player they want. They just did it with Dobson. Teams need to accumulate assets to trade for players because free agency is toast. If you don’t think the habs won’t move major assets to complete this team for a top 6 winger or legit 2c, you better get prepared.
