  1. These rumours mean nothing just something someone made up. Well I can say I checked on line houses for sale in Penticton it doesn’t mean I’m moving absolutely nothing. These videos spew nothing but garbage.

  2. The Habs do NOT need McJesus. They have the scorers they need to scare the H! out of any other team, and after what Suzie did this year, it would be a shiatty, disrespectful move from the GM. The problem is DEFENSE, and one more awesome goalie to support Dobes.
Arber is a horse and a good guy, but he isn't the best defensive player around… They need TWO tier 1 D-men, that can stop anything, AND can kick arse when it counts. The scorers are all smallish guys (for the league, not in a bar), who got stopped by the physicality of round 3's Carolina team, NOT by lack of talent. If they keep Arber (don't think so) to lay down the law, but not being able to always play good D, they'd still need to shore him up with better D-focused players, so his mistakes or lack of experience wouldn't cost a goal.
He IS going to be an elite player, but he needs LOTS of ice time with a good coach, so probably a lesser team that doesn't mind him getting penalized and letting things pass by when he shouldn't. UNTIL he gets it all down pat and becomes a dream-tream Defense player.
As for DOBES, he is, for now, the number 1 guy. But, things change fast, as we saw with Montambeauylt, who was elite last year, and sent down this year… Nobody really knows about Flwoler anymore since he hasn't played much, but realistically, Montreal needs a VERY good goalie to cut Dobes some slack, and keep the stats up and the wins going.
They can either spend their money on THREE new hires that would be the last nail on every other team's coffin, OR get one more scorer, who would go through the SAME kind of shiat that he's trying to leave, because the people the team needs would break the cap.
Without a few HIGH salary Canadiens leaving, there is NO room for Connor.

  3. No, hockey is more than just a business because it requires an ownership commitment that far exceeds what most owners understand. It’s not just a rich man’s toy and the greatest owner in Oilers history was Peter Pocklington and he has the rings to prove it. Lauren Kyle could go to Montreal and teach them to be sophisticated unlike Edmontonians.

  4. 2 first round picks, a second round pick, Hage, Zharovsky, Kapanen and Montembault for McDavid. I'd even throw in Caufield and Reinbacher to sweeten the deal.

  5. Would be great 👍 at what cost ? but in the long run the habs would loose out since the have one of the best prospect pool . 1 cup over the next 30 years or 2 and possibly 3 in the next 10 ?
