  1. Laf has been suffocated by being played as a feeder for vets that are paid more than him. He will be ignored again in favor of JT as soon as he is healthy. His development is a product of how he is utilised.

  2. Laffy will be better when all the old guard is gone, especially Vinny ( he always teases laffy like a child, not allowing him to grow up) and I love Trocheck

  3. Post Olympic record looks very promising, but we are dealing with a short sample from a maddeningly inconsistent Rangers team…
The poster child for inconsistency has been Laffy. his chance to shake that comes now.
I hope the guy does find his game, and that the younger players we saw last night thrive.

  4. Rangers seem to be playing harder and with more energy since resuming after the Olympic break. Where was this effort 2 months ago?

  5. The puck has consistently been on Laf’s stick recently and he’s trying to make a play where in the past (10) + games ago he either never had the puck Panarin did or when he did he treated it like it was a grenade
and wanted no part of it.

  6. Perrault has proven to be a scorer and play maker and in a short time as for Lafreniere my question is why it has taken him so long to play the game we all thought he would? I guess the way Perrault is playing has given Lafreniere i little bit more production.

  7. Tye Kartye is sure noticeable for the right reasons. Tenacious on the forechecking, winning puck battles & finally got rewarded with his first goal as a Ranger. And I’ll say it b/c no one else probably will: Drury picked him up on waivers. He didn’t just fall into the team’s lap.

  8. I mean I've believed in Laffy all along, and Gabe is looking really good, same for Laba, etc. …. but let's not get ahead of ourselves. Also want to say, even when Laffy has no points in a game, it doesn't mean he didn't play well. He needs to drive the car, not be a passenger … as long as we had Panarin that was never going to happen. Please shut down Miller for the rest of the year … he's an albatross around the neck of this team.

  9. Yeah with what we have now there is something we can build upon and there's no reason this can't be a playoff team next year though I have little faith in Drury to get it done. For Perrault this is an ideal scenario to acclimate and develop. No playoff pressure, just go out play your best game and have fun. Laffy's always been physical but only in stretches, and those stretches conspicuously aligned to when he was playing his best hockey. The way I see it he's only a few fine points in his skating and an attitude away from being at least a top liner (hesitate to stay "star"), well if he's working harder in practice that could be the attitude piece, now some intensive skating instruction over the summer and this player might verify after all.

  10. i dont know if you ever saw the comment, but before panarin was traded, i had said it would be great for lafrenierre, with him now not feeling like the offense needs to go through panarin, which any young player would think, panarin gone, and laffy is straight rolling and potentally,, at this pace, could have his best season

  11. Absolutely zero pressure and now Laffy looks like a superstar..what a bum….where were you the past two years when it mattered….please get trade value up as high as possible so we can lose you like you deserve…..BUM!

  12. Please explain to me how you get a #1 overall pick and then instantly move him to his off side and a position he never played before. Not only that but you also don’t give him any constant PP1 time………… in the long term it might be genius because he’ll be a more well rounded player for it but I highly doubt it was on purpose

  13. I mean it's perfect for this bunch of moping bottlers to go on a winning run just as the games don't mean anything and it is far more advantageous to not pick up points, all the while costing us a better draft position. Classic Rangers and well suited to this 'core'. Highly unlikable with a few exceptions.

And we are really celebrating a first overall supposed star player beating a pathetic point total from the previous season. Things truely are lower than they seem.
