Some Bad News..

OK Guys, it’s time to take a look at the game last night between the Montreal Canadiens and the Columbus Blue Jackets. The Habs lose this game by a score of 5-2, however.. Noah Dobson left the game early and did not return! The Habs confirmed today that he will be missing for (at the very least) the beginning of the playoffs.. And this is a huge blow for this team moving forward. Lets break this one down!

  1. Please stop the high-pitched dinging sound there are plenty of people with sensitive ears as well as animals and it makes your videos impossible to watch

  2. Exactly!!! To much overreaction over Hage, incredible! How fast everyone wants to suddenly trade him is insane. Let him finish his studies.

  4. Let him play with his baby brother for a year when his brother comes to Michigan U… one year of marinating will be worth it … you’ve got dreams he does too… I think this playing college hockey with his brother is the main reason he’s staying… you can’t blame him for this once in a lifetime…

  5. Disappointed initially at the announcement from Hage, but another year of development will do him good. Hope Dobson’s injury doesn’t take long to heal. Nice to see Reinbacher finally play a game with the Habs.

  6. My TOTs are… Don't be upset, Hage is still on the way… and I will love to see how Reinbacher does in the NHL!

  7. Engstrom is easily the best dman in Leval with Marc Del Gaizo being the 2nd best. Losing Dobson hurts bad while not choosing the best players to replace him only makes it worse.

  8. Hear me out…

Hage had a couple injuries, I think that made him nervous and hes staying to finish his degree.

  9. This was time for Dach, Velno…the underdogs to shine. I was hoping at least a better effort from those players tonight because we are going to need that effort in the playoffs. I hope Dobson is okay.

  10. On the fence here about Dobson. St Louis went all in on him and Matheson the entire season, to the detriment of other D who needed to play more to be somewhat ready for the post-season. Between that and the ridiculous number of points pissed away during Marty-Monty playdates, St Louis operated in " it's-OK-to-lose " mode far too long and it is about to bite the team in the ass.

  11. Columbus desperately needed those two points more than we did and they showed up and played like it

  12. Boys gotta start playing in the 1st period, and play a full 60 minutes, we have been getting away with playing half a game most of the season, but that's not gonna work in the playoffs. Tighten shit up, let's go!

  13. If Reinbacher plays tonight then the coach is a lot stupider than I already think he is. Rein already played big minutes Fri. and Sat. so this would make it 3 games in 3 nights.

  15. Predictable result in hindsight, a hungry team in a must win game against a mostly satisfied Habs team. Probably fed the boys turkey at pregame buffet for an extra dose of dozing good vibe

  16. hw can anybody blame Dobeš tho ?! … they jus f***ing gave up about the standings … horrendous gameplays … get the sh*t straight boys! … lets beat yslanders !! GOHABS GO!!! 🔥

  17. For YEARS Habs fans have been bitching about how we rush and ruin prospects. Now we have a top prospect who decides for himself that he needs more time, and we are offended?? Lol come on

  18. Kostopoulos card.. fine. But where is Ryan O'Byrne card of the year his first goal was in his own net against the islanders? PS: Hage did a McKenna, he stays NCAA next season for the six figures and his brother.

  19. This game was like many in November, The team started slowly and left the goalie on his own and never really woke up.

Hage staying to play another year as his brother arrives to Michigan so they can play together for 1 season. This development may end up with Hughes trading Hage this summer for a 2c.
Reinbacher call up is interesting. The depth on defence is being tested. We will pass the test.

  20. fun fact for Suzuki's 100 points: the last time the Canadiens saw both 50 goals and 100 points in the same season was 1979-1980, back when Guy Lafleur was in his prime. This team really is something special

  21. Looking at the Rocket Richard race… McKinnon (52) and Caufield (51) I wonder if he could pull it off?

  22. Disappointed to hear about Hage.:Sounds like he's still to young and won't leave his buddies yet. Trade his rights for a second line center. Our window wont he open forever.

  23. They were pretty flat, right out of the gate they were chasing the game. It's tough to lose another defense man.

  24. Losing Dobson for a couple weeks sucks, but I think we're projected to have the rest of the D core back for Game 1 next weekend. Obviously, it's not ideal, but they've managed well through injures over last season and this one. I feel like this Habs squad has adapted well to a good punch in the mouth, so I think they'll respond well.

In any event, let's enjoy the last couple games of the regular season 🙂

  25. Just a reminder that this team is still a ways out from contending. Our apparent number 2 centre of the future is remaining in college. Our first pick and top-4 d-man is only making his debut tonight. Don’t have depth yet. Will be tough to compete in playoffs. We are already weak defensively and now missing our top pairing guy and shot blocker for the first round minimum.

  26. Good decisions for a young Hage, Dobie looked bad on the first 2, they need to learn how to lose without losing anything

  27. That struble turnover for a monahan goal legitimately made me tear up, it was so atrocious they shoulda put the mans name down for the assist, holy

  28. This is a season to remember.
    Cole Caufield 50+ goals
    Nick Suzuki 100+ points
Lane Hutson most assists by a defencman in 1 season in franchise history
Slaf chasin down 30 goals, Doby having a franchise record season, Montey finally finding his place as a bench warmer….
    THE FUTURE IS BLINDING ❤
