Alexis Lafreniere scored twice and Adam Fox had a goal and an assist for the Rangers but, it was Alex Tuch and Jason Zucker who scored in the third to give the Sabres the lead and Zach Benson would seal it for Buffalo with an empty net goal. The Sabres are now in sole possesion of first place of the Atlantic Division with 104 points.

They had a nice first two periods playing well and then they let this happen in the third period p I am so sick of this coaching staff they absolutely stink the how in the world you bring David Quinn back
I thought they would win until the 3rd when Sabres turned it up a notch . Rangers power play odd man rushes and goaltending ŵere dominant most of the night . Luke kept the team in thereas we saw a goalie duel . Buffalo is this years Cinderella Team and they control their fate. It really depends on which Sabres team shows up and if they play a full 60 minutes ?

The sabers were co state in the first 2 period and then they woke up Rangers couldn't match their speed
