Big win tonight. And a lot of other Sharks stepping up and making an impact! I would have love for Celebrini to have gotten a few points… but… The best way for the team to help him is to create threats elsewhere on the line. It opens up a little more time and space for Mack to work his magic.
Good analysis guys I would add that Nick Leddy has been a steadying factor on defense and Zach-O is probably their most improved player this season. The Sharks now have 4 lines that can score and change a game momentum. They have enough depth to be a playoff team and win some games post-season. The other thing I worry about is that the dynamic duo of Celebrini-Smith have too much preference for passing exclusively to each other, or to each other as first option, that other teams will figure them out AND INTERCEPT MORE. Both players have accurate shooting ability and should shoot first, pass only if necessary to get a better shot. Both players would handle puck better and have better puck control if they chopped 6 inches off their stick length. The old way to measure stick length was up to your nose with skates on (this was a very well established hockey tradition with wood sticks). Longer sticks give you better reach but less puck control and power in slap shot, while wrist shot is better due to flex in longer stick. Other players, such as Sherwood, have such long sticks that it looks clownish when they stick handle and they know they could handle puck better with a few inches sawed off. This is an NHL wide problem and I think also a longer stick makes it easier to knock pucks away. Sherwood also seems to fall down on ice every shift, sometimes due to hits but most often it seems he just has bad balance. I would like to hear Drew's opinion on players falling down too much or learning to balance better and stay on your feet, as a team that falls down is always slower than a team that stays balanced and moving. Sharks are moving in all the right directions!!!!

W for the Shark on Pride Night. 🌈 Graf, Eky, Ned, and Chukky were amazing tonight!
Here here Drew. Spot on. Sharks stood tall in the 3rd with grit from Ferraro. We need to resign him!!
reset and stand tall mentality, it was impressive watching you all, ridiculous!
Yay April birthdays! Happy birthday Brodie and Drew!

Team is resilient, 3 times 5 game losing streaks, just when you thought they folded finding ways to win.
Happy birthday Brodie!
My mother's birthday is on Monday, and yes, she'll be at the game!
Go Sharks!
Especially with the short rest, this is a very, very solid win. Fabulous stuff.
Happy Birthday Brodie! 🎉
Back to back wins is HUGE!
