    My god kings just playing to make it to overtime every night. I hope they don't make it because I don't want other teams to copy this strategy. Yuck.

    If nothing else, the Kings making the playoffs would at least tire out Colorado a fair bit before the second round. A sweep is a lot harder to pull off when your opponent takes every game to double overtime

    The kings have went to overtime 32 times. They have lost 19 times in overtime. They have won only 19 games in regulation (31st in the NHL). This is their 5th win in the shootout. They are in a playoff spot.

    Change the overtime rules and point distribution NHL for the love of God.
