  1. Gotta call 3 goals and a fight a 'Will Cuylle Hat Trick' like Gordie Howe. He may have to do it a few more times for that tho lol

  2. Imagine if Drury let the young guys play earlier in the year? Don't worry all these good vibes with the youngsters right now will be ruined by Drury signing old crusty FA in the off season for next season like he does every year

  3. This team, ever since the Olympic break, I actually like this team. Up until this point, it's just been embarrassing to be a fan of the NYR. I really like what we have. The only move that we need to make in the off-season, as far as free agency goes, is to pick up one good defenseman. Otherwise, leave the team as is. The chemistry is there. They want to play for each other. The only thing Sullivan needs to do is just help the young players play a more disciplined game, not quite so reckless.

  4. Could it be that Panarin was the locker room cancer? They're playing with more focus and attention to detail since he's been traded.

  5. This is why you don't tank. Building a culture and learning to win as a team is more important than any one player.

  6. I will say it again after a big win … sheary , brodzinski and raddysh should not be in the roster next season and there is still room for rempe and edstrom on this team next season

  7. Time to ship out the aging vets who are happy to play at 50% speed as compared to the kids. The old guys are too jaded and selfish. Why Panarin was so so EXPENDABLE. selfish and happy just putting up points, instead of WINNING>

  8. So much for the Rangers cannot draft or develop players now MGT and ownership needs to buy into the youth and get rid of some aging vets including their captain who still looks his game has past him bye. Tough love Drury so us that you are a quality GM and make the remaining hard decisions

  9. It absolutely FEELS new and fun and hopeful! Love the energy from these kids and back to back hat tricks and growth and Sykora celebrations! LETS GOOOOO! I AM HERE FOR ALL OF IT!

  10. They have no choice to okay the kids now, you have move Sheary and others out…Othmann given 2 ganes in Calagary 1 goal and 1 Assist….the Coaching staff wouldn't give the youth good minutes…still get rid of Drury

  11. A playoff team next year? Sure, why not? It's a TEAM game and they have Shesty in net, if they come in next season with the same energy and quickness that these young guys are evidencing (even now that some of the initial adrenalin has passed), there's no reason they can't turn 8-9 losses into 8 or 9 wins, especially if guys like Fox don't get injured for a significant period of time. Even if they don't though, at least they'll be highly competitive. We witnessed so many games where they just looked listless, completely out of it start to finish. Oh, and stop catering to veterans. A veteran makes a mistake and the coaching staff says, "Oh well, these things happen", a rookie makes a mistake and it's "Oh yeah, he's not NHL ready". I would rather focus on teaching the young dogs new tricks rather than dealing with old dog behaviors that have become somewhat routine.

  12. The Sirens are kicking you out of the Knicks arena. History. 1940 Potvin Rules.
