He was on a 1.5mil contract, and they got 2 second round picks for him instead of resigning a 30 year old to a 3-4 year deal. The pros far outweigh the cons of this trade.
Some fans seem to think it’s a disaster every time you DONT get a 1st round pick but most players are just not valuable enough to warrant a 1st rounder.
Would rather take my chances on McKenna or Stenberg to start
