  1. Hyped and Liked and first. GO Pens. Crosby 21 straight seasons with a point per game or better. Malkin turning up, Rakel is on fire. Elmer glue finding anyway he can to score. Good time to be a PENGUINS fan BOO-YEAH. Happy Easter 🐧👍🐧🐧🐧🐧

  2. I am satisfied with the direction of the Pittsburgh penguins, and if we get flyers 1st round, confident we beat them

  3. The announcers said it well today; "Penguins are looking like the Harlem Globetrotters out there." The flawless tic tac toe passing with a reverberating CLACK sound of an impact each time it went tape to tape had florida standing still, seemingly mesmerized.

  4. The glaring weakness that is the Pens shootout record magically disappears when the playoffs begin. The teams ahead of the Pens in the standings suddenly become more mortal when that stat means nothing in a head to head with Pittsburgh.

  5. What a team. Second most goals in the league, only Colorado has more. I'm confident they can win in the first round, if they would do that and they play Carolina round 2, I feel like that's where the run would end, but anything can happen. With better goaltending (Murashov?) and team defense, I genuinely think there's a world where the Penguins can win the Cup. They absolutely have the scoring already, especially depth wise (they lead the league in 10+ goal scorers and 15+ goal scorers)

  6. Sid always has a mini-slump when he is a few points from a big milestone, especially one he cares about. And there is no doubt he cared about passing his childhood idol.

  7. 25 needs to stay when Lizotte returns and Novak can take a seat or they can alternate at worst.

I'm almost ready to say Raks can just be the 2C 🤷🏻‍♂️ And as I said last week, SM needed to be up to get a game or two since Stu and Artie have been showing cracks.

  8. Novak and braz have been the two players who seem to be "less hot" right now. If lizzotte returns to health for the playoffs i think one of them comes out for elmer. The playoffs are a different animal and elmers size and tenacity (plus his offesive contributions) fit better for the post season. Good problems to have. Side note: plz take the time this summer/traing camp to get elmer on the pk. His size and stick length could give teams fits and that could solidify him and every day spot on this team.

  9. Dubas is going to make the playoffs with the Pens.
Treliving has missed the playoffs and couldn't sign Marner with the Laffs.
Zero conversation in Canada about the Dubas masterclass, the Treliving hire in comparison to Dubas, or any other Dubas Laffs talk.
Geno, Sid, and EK65 going BEAST MODE as we go into the playoffs hopefully vs the Philly CRYERS. What a bonus 87 vs the Cryers would be.

  10. Can we face Panthers PK during the playoffs? 6 of 12 is amazing stat to have

  11. This was about as successful of a week that the Pittsburgh Penguins can ask for:

You began last Monday March 30th with 88 points and trailed the NY Islanders by 1 point for second in the Metro, heading into that showdown that took place on the Island last Monday Night:

At the end of the week on Easter Sunday April 5th, the Pittsburgh Penguins now:
    – Collected 8 out of 10 points this week
    – won all 4 games in regulation (huge for first tiebreaker)
    – now lead the Philadelphia Flyers by 6 points, NY Islanders by 7 points, Columbus Blue Jackets by 8 points, and the Washington Capitals by 9 points
    – You began last week as one of those teams in the mix, but by getting 8 out of 10 points, you have separated yourself from the pack and have all but guaranteed, we will have playoff hockey in the Steel City this spring.

Job well done guys, enjoy the three days and let’s go to Jersey Thursday Night and finish the job!

  12. long overdue 3 day break, now because of the sweep we could even clinch a spot without even playing till thursday then if things go south with the 2nd wildcard that nobody wants for some reason.

  13. The Flyers are hot right now. But of course, that was the case with both the Isles and Jackets not that long ago. Amazing how this stuff can change on a dime. Kudos to the Pens for coming out on the right side of things after that crazy schedule … both in terms of number of games and quality of opponents … throughout March and early April.

  14. Novak is doing good getting chances creating plays ,, how we gonna hang on to kouiven or kappanen so long and even think to say Novak not good.. makes no sense, i would take brazeu out he's been a bum not Novak

  15. IMO Ben Kindels process hasn’t been good recently he’s looking like a 18yr old who’s played 75 games. Since playoffs are basically a lock would you sit him over some combination of the last 4 games just to rest and get his head straight?

  16. Hi guys, I hope you had a wonderful Easter weekend. Ok, Silvos….he's young still, I think we can forget that sometimes. But, saying that he needs to learn more, correct? Here's what scares me with that, I remember seeing an interview, with another reporter, he was asked about the rebounds he gives up and Silvos's response was "I think I'm doing good. I kick them to the corner." Now, this was in November (ish) and by his stats, he was actually the worst in the NHL at that time. His not willing to accept constructive criticism and refuse to see his weakness might be his downfall. I remember a mentor of mine always use to say "In everything you do, remain teachable." I've never forgotten that, my hope Silvos learns this because his talent is there. I'm a big fan guy and appreciate all your hard work!! Thank you. Blessings, Victor 🇨🇦 🙏

  17. Almost there boys.
Gotta say it looks good for Sid n Geno's legacy that they only miss the playoffs for 3 straight seasons and not more.
Detroit is headed for a 10 straight year missing.
I dont ever want to see Pittsburgh on those list of long playoff droughts.
3 sttraight years missing is long enough and now the boy's have the team KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCKING on Playoffs Door…yeah….yeah…..YEAH!!!

  18. Matthew has two rings and a gold medal inside the last light year and a half I think he'll take the summer off just fine

  19. that first goal on sunday by silovs was not questionable, it was just bad luck. I mean, it hit him in the face, he was completely square to the shooter…but it was a flipping puck and it bounced weird. Just what is there to nitpick on that one?

Silovs I think will play better and more consistently if he plays multiple games in a row. I think the 50/50 thing hurts him in finding his groove.

  20. Love the Flyers hate and welcome a first round beatdown… but you can't deny Martone has been the Flyers' best player since making his debut!
