Another outstanding game from Avery Hayes! 👏🏻
The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins forward recorded three points (1+2), including the game-winning goal, as the home club downed the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, 3-1, on Friday night at the Mohegan Arena at Casey Plaza.
Other stellar performances for the hosts came from:
🐧 Gabe Klassen – who opened the scoring with his 16th goal of the season
🐧 Rafael Harvey-Pinard – his empty net tally gives him 19 scores so far
🐧 Sergei Murashov – the Pens netminder held the Phantoms scoreless for 58:42, and stopped 23 shots for his 23rd win of the campaign.
The Penguins and Phantoms face off once again Saturday night in Allentown.

I'm always conflicted when I see Avery Hayes, on one side it sucks to see such a good player not not having a consistent spot on the nhl roster, and on the other side I'm glad that the penguins are so deep that there isn't any room for someone like hayes or even kovinen
Anytime any form of the Penguins beat anything to do with the Cryers it's a good day…
