What excites you most about the new era for the Calgary Flames?
Late great Flame Tom Lysiak is the cousin of Avalanche defenceman Cale Makar's father Gary so Cale is Tom's first cousin once removed. Tom Lysiak's Jersey was retired by the Medicine Hat Tigers a few years ago. Cliff Fletcher tried for years to trade for Lanny McDonald who was Tom's RW on the Tiger's before he finally succeeded. You can't tell me Conroy won't make every effort to get Cale Makar into a Flames uniform even if it is only for one game.
