Edit: Ugh, Don't worry Steve, you as a Leaf guy should know all to well that Marner ALWAYS scores on the Flames. So does Nylander. I don't think there has ever been a game where Marner did not score on the Flames. It was AWFUL watching that. For whatever reason, Marner (and Nylander) Feast on the Flames.
Well, I gotta say, Stolarz was RIGHT. His mad rant of disgust back in October was spot on accurate. He was telling Treliving and the whole damn world what was wrong and how to fix it, and… they made him retract it. He was trying to set a standard. He was trying to create a culture. Meh, nope, the big giant corporation that babies its stars made him retract. Pathetic.
This is where a competent management group would bring up & dress the Marlies for the Kings game, if for no other reason than to take it out of the hands of the players.

I watch a couple of hockey commentators/analysts and although not a Maple Leaf's fan (Florida fan aka Panthers and Lightning) you are the most entertaining of them all. Love the energy. As a former Chicagoan from the days of Hull, Mikita I remember the electricity of the Stadium and certainly know what its like to be a die hard fan that lives and breathes his team. I'm calmer these days (on Dr's orders lol) but I do empathize with your plight. All the best.

It wasn't a good run. They only got to the second round at the end of it. First or second round exits are nothing more than confirming you are top-half of the league good. During these 10 years, the Canes went to the Conference Finals 3 times.

After sdpn's kind visit to SJ last season, i can't bring myself to gloat over a win over the leafs. But i do see it as a "win/win" because the leafs helped the sharks move into a playoff spot and hopefully we helped the leafs with a better draft pick.

Having watched the play and the replays I'm pretty sure that first goal was deflected off the defenseman's stick. Stolie's reaction says to me that it didn't go where he was expecting it to.
