Penguins postgame: Humble pie. Locker room criticism & What can’t happen again

  1. Was at the game … penguins literally weren't there
.. malkin sat at the red line all night waiting for a beer league cherry picked pass …sid was invisible… Just bad

  2. Hey Dan. . . They looked very disorganized tonight. Thanks you so much for your 'nuts and bolts' analysis. Heard you on the radio broadcast 1st intermission. 😉 You got cut off at the very end of the vid. 🤔 In any event, safe travels back home, and see you on the next one! Cheers! 😉🐧🏒💕

  3. Malkin and Sid played awful. And you could tell by their jawing with the opposing team. Pure frustration. The epitome of the loss was Erik Karlsson working his tail off to save the puck and dangle through opposing players while on the Powerplay in the 3rd and making a pass to….nobody. Not because Karl is incompetent but on the broadcast in that very moment, all 4 other players on the ice were motionless. Colby Armstrong and I quite literally simultaneously say "Nobody is moving". It was almost like everyone was afraid of the puck. Letang and Girard were the best pairing. (thats literally never been said before) and that largely due to Girard. Letang had soo many issues playing the puck you'd think his skates were tied together.. They weren't sharp and their effort wasn't far behind. I worried about their energy to end this season just like everyone else. I watched during December. It was brutal and they were gassed. The only thing going for us is that most of the time, the opposing team is also gassed. Here's to us figuring it out before it's too late.

  4. So was this a story of coaching failure by not reading the game correctly or did the players not follow Dan’s orders. Why don’t you or the other reporters ask Dan point blank which was it. Either way, we don’t want this to turn into a long term problem. Either Dan must get better at reading the opposition and changing the plan to adapt or the players gotta follow the plan better. Otherwise, we may be looking in from the outside…AGAIN!
