  1. If 98 points is the goal (guess), we're in a position of needing 12 points in the last 8 games. Not easy, but 6-2-0 or 5-1-2 are both doable.

  2. Too much Tom Wilson. And Martone learned you need to tie up Ovechkin when he’s in front of the net. Konecny needs to backcheck more too.

  3. You can see Tippett coming into his own over this stretch of games. Clearly playing with confidence.

  4. Michkov and martone should be on the same pp unit, they are both the kind of player that makes shit happen.

  5. I get Vladar did not have a good game but our Defense is abysmal! Zegras is a liability on D and our true defenders York, Sanheim and Drysdale are too inconsistent and seem to lack hockey IQ and consistent physicality!

I’m sick of seeing every team push/move our players around!

  6. Also Martone was fine for his 1st game. Looked how I would expect. Little deer in the headlights early and a couple really good scoring opportunities late. Overall solid 1st game.

  7. Please don’t ever mention Alex DeBrincat again. I’m still pissed off over Rubstov and Laberge. He had 65 goals and 62 goals in 63 games. It was the easiest pick in history and we botched twice. Oh, and how nice would Tage Thompson and DeBrincat look on our ice?
