Reportedly, Myers has already declined waiving his NTC to go to the Wings. So yeah, apparently not happening.
Why would he want to accept the trade to Detroit??? If he was smart it would be Colorado, Dallas, Carolina, and Tampa. Anything less would be uncivilized.

From what I've heard, Myers has a child with a rare medical condition. It's likely he will accept a trade only to a place that has specialists that are capable of treating the child.
How many 2nd round picks end up developing into reliable players ? And He's worth more than a 2nd round pick .
So happy Myers declined. I think I'd rather have Larry Murphy come out of retirement. Yzerman is such a bozo.
As a wings fan, id take him over Gus, Holl or Hammonic…for the right price. Id do it for a 2nd. If this is the only trade I'd be disappointed. If this is one of a couple trades, id like it better
So it's reported he has turned down the Red wings.. however he has said that he wants to go with a team that's ready to go to the Stanley cup finals. Behind the scenes Colorado is doing things to potentially make a trade offer for him
