Go check out Pelley’s work history. He comes in, makes a splash, then leaves before the true consequences are revealed and the organization he leads has real long term financial and organizational issues. He is a relentless self-promoter who has climbed the corporate ladder by cultivating a high media profile.
I met him once for a job interview and he came across as tremendously self-confident. I’ll leave others to decide if that confidence is warranted.

Hire a stud D to lead the organization like Blake or Pronger. Leafs need to aquire a top 5 D on the planet earth or draft one outside that there's no chance. Full rebuild will allow the time to do that and build around. It's not forwards it's not goalies it's D and D only to start then work from there.
