I want to take this opportunity to bring all of us Habs and Starrico fans together in love and joy and excitement for our hockey team that is in the early stages of being the most awesome its been since last century.
Let's all bring the love and fun to this channel!
Also be kind to horses. 🙏
Pickford, Protz and Rohrer are B tier prospect with 50/50 odds of making the NHL one day, I would be careful about being hyped with them.
Depending on the caliber of the player development and trying to win aren't necessarily mutually exclusive.
They have been focusing on transforming the makeup of the organization. It's so exciting now, can't wait for the game tonight.
No talk about Beck and Mesar speaks volumes about their potential.
Let's gooo! Calder sweeps… Hutson, Demidov, Hage, Then Zharovsky. Geterdun!!
MH is NOT losing to the Pats. Ha.
Thinking 🤔 Engstrom s not going back with Carrier out 2 /4 week
How about the Black Ace will it happen again and with the Rockets in the playoffs??
I really dont see what people see in Rohrer. One of the CH problem is that the bottom 6 is too small and they'll finally get rid of Gally next year so why bring another small guy that play like Gally. At least Gally had offense potential when he was young, Rohrer doesnt even have that.
Shaun, your video feed freezes quite often (audio keeps working).
Hage isn't ready for the NHL. You guys are way too high on him.
i think that the habs will trade a couple of prospects this offseason. we have to many guys and we could get some value for them.
Pickford and Price both good old Canadian farm boys. Perfect compliment to each other on the ice.
most informed and level headed duo in habbywood. thanks for the updates ghg! denver will be a tough matchup but i would still bet the farm on the wolverines to win the natty
As much as I'd love to see zharovsky in Montréal this spring.. the point that he needs to bulk up and get stronger Is a good one. He might as well do that in Russia, and then join the habs just in time for next year's playoffs
So it seems clear to me that the Habs lack the grit for playoff success at the moment and Xhekaj does not seem to have a path to being that guy. It also seems that the grit in the organization is among its prospects and won't be ready for years. So, I guess the Habs window is still pretty far off, maybe 4-5 years?
Having quality players in Laval, whether they crack the NHL or not, are a massive contribution to the development of the players who do make it. These prospects are good and will help Montreal in their overall goal. Its not just the NHL or bust, think big guys.
Future is so bright for the Habs!
Ah, each episode I learn a bit more about Marco's perspective…'Scoring goals is why we watch hockey is it not?'…perhaps a bit of a 'hot take' given it was a question about Pickford, but no. I watch hockey, especially right now, to see how the team is playing. I'll take 82 1-0 wins over 82 8-7 losses. Especially if the wins are filled with great saves, fast skating, hard hitting, incredible dekes, tape-to-tape passes etc. etc. Scoring more goals than the opposition is obviously needed to win, but if I was just watching for the goals I might as well save my time and watch the highlights.
