@Montreal Canadiens

I honestly can’t believe this guy..

OK Guys, it’s time to take a look at the game last night between the Montreal Canadiens and the Carolina Hurricanes! The Habs win this game by a score of 3-1 and collect two more big points against the Canes. However.. The true hero for the Habs in this win was Jakub Dobes. And his performance last night was nothing short of incredible. Let’s break this one down!

  1. MSL has mind fkd Arber Xhekaj all year, literally destroying his confidence. Now the little midget insults Xhekaj to the extreme by putting on the 4th line as a forward. How fking insulting is that? I would have said NO….you play lil Marty. AX is a defenseman and if you dont want to use him as a dman, then trade him so he can become the beast of a dman he can be. He should have put Matheson up as a fwd and let AX take his spot….#8 plays like a fwd anyway.

  2. MSL gets the 1st star for putting Xhekaj on the wing and back in the game.
We are so lucky to have this group. A most sincere thank you Mr Molson, Mr Hughes, and Mr Gorton. We've been waiting so long for this.
This team is overachieving like 1993.

  3. WANTED FOR THEFT hilarious. maybe less of the pic of Doby w a mont-royale sized zit on his left cheekbone? merci ; )

  4. Wanna see something?
How about Arber, Anderson and Florian…ON THE SAME LINE?!
    Can you IMAGINE that?!

  5. Bro, not mentioning Slaf today??? On his 22nd birthday??? WTH is going on with you Junkie??? How could you??? I let this slide time but you on the watch for the next year!!!

  6. Glad the habs have a DOBERMAN to put between the pipes in this dogfight to just make they playoffs! GLad team is on all cyliders from here on out!

  7. Anderson and Wifi on the same line. Evens dumps it in a corner. Two defence men are like “you get it. No, you get it”

  8. I’m a Habs fan and I live in North Carolina 15 min from the Lenovo Center. I’ve been lucky enough to watch so many games as the away fan. This game was wild, felt like the Hurricanes would break through but Dobey’s performance was beautiful to watch. This one was impressive because we were ass to start but we capitalized when we needed it most. Quality > quantity baby, Go Habs Go

  9. The Canadiens are for real. And they are a fun to watch even for a neutral fan like myself.

  10. Your bang on they are a lot of fun to watch. Nightmare you say, Xhekaj is a beast I get scared just watching him on TV, I was suprised MSL found a spot for him all 3 shifts, it must have been scarey as hell him barreling down on you.

  11. I got the same feeling watching Price. The defense is so bad, I was just waiting for the opposition to score a goal, or run into Price

  12. Doby Cooper: wanted for theft in Carolina. Love it! (On Marinaro, they said the last five game streak was in 2017)

  13. i dont know i dont really watch it… i dont have tv lol… i do but not tv…you know what i mean im pretty sure i can find some way to watch it on pc …but i won't do that…i'm happy they doing work and it pay off

  14. My TOTs are… The Habs biggest problem is moving the puck outta D zone and then transitioning through the neutral zone to the O zone. The symptom is getting ridiculously outshot. The band aid is lots of blocked shots and lots of saves, combined with an amazing shot percentage on offense. Thank goodness for Doby and Fowler. It is probably not sustainable and they need to fix this moving the puck problem…hopefully before the playoffs, or at least before next season….PS the lagacy of Flanders continues & love to see Arby on the wing!!! WOOOOH! 😀

  15. I feel like the D has been really cleaning up their rebound control these last few games. Doby's getting the saves AND now he's getting proper support + clears.

  16. Positioning and focus. With his size, if he's on top of those 2, he's hard to beat. Just needs to tidy-up rebound control a touch.

  17. I'm old enough to remember the Guy Lafleur days and this Habs team is by far the most exciting and fun to watch since the late 70s so I'm sure you haven't seen a better Habs team if you're under 55…

  18. @HockeyJunkie I am going to be at the Tampa bay game tomorrow! If anything good happens and I get the video, I’ll send you clips!

  19. I’ve played D my whole life. For the first time ever there’s too many D on my team and they threw me up front. They don’t want me off the first line since cause i give them space and second chance through forecheck.

  20. And no one hit Dobie. I wonder what changed to turn the Canes "shy" like that… 😉 There's a guy who couldn't join in on the "fun" in front of the opposing net before, because of the position he played. Now he's playing in a position where he can join in on the "fun" anywhere, anytime, against anyone. Good move!

  21. God i'm so happy we are done with the Monty BS. The constant jerking Doby around absolutely tanked his confidence, and playing Monty so much has 100% prevented us from being 1st in the division.

  22. Dobes is "it" from what we have seen so far, meaning he might be more than a backup goalie when all is said and done. Top 6 rookie so far I think. Looks like he has a nice relation with Fowler too, they both cheer for each other, which is cute.
