    I’m going to theorize that this is just as much setting up a heel turn for Cody as it is for KO. By goading KO into this match, Cody put him in a position to choose between friendship and the championship. KO’s expressed guilt over the circumstances surrounding his previous Universal Championship win enables Cody to leverage his nagging injuries to retain his title… all while presenting himself as a fighting champion who acknowledges his friends by giving them a spotlight.

    Sure, KO can be the one who uses all of this as a motive to turn heel on Cody. Or, Cody can go full Homelander and become the public babyface with the heel soul.

    It doesn't matter if that was a good move because he eventually end up doing what's he's best at & that's betraying his friends 😏 & he did with cody & randy too.😌
