    What’s crazy is /37 wins 28 have been in Regulation for Edmonton; to say OT is Edmonton strongest is not possible of a tie breaker comes between Edmonton and Anaheim. Edmonton takes it completely cause they are 13th in the league in regulation wins

    I would rather play utah, id prefer avoiding an extremely physical series vs vegas or LA, just to be healthier if we get past.

    Edmonton has more RWs than Minnesota with the same amount of ROWs. Kinda wild.
    Also Anaheim is 8-0 in shootouts to Edmonton's 0-3

    I don’t think the Oilers care about the regular season. They are now getting into playoff form.

    The parity between teams in the cap era means there will be more OT and shoot-outs in general, and every game is a game that a bounce or two can change the result. No division is actually head above or below any other. Restart the season right now and the results will be very different.

    In my opinion I think they'll be fine in the playoffs. Yes winning streaks haven't been our forte l, however we haven't had any massive losing streaks either. And if it goes to it goes to ot, how many made it to ot last year in the playoffs. Quite a few. LGO!

    Oilers players don't care about regular season, they don't care about division or trophies or prices or whatever. They make it to the playoffs by the skin of their teeths and then they just find a way in the playoffs. Real question is, can they make it through that game 6 and 7 in a cup finale.

    imho the Oilers beat either Vegas or Utah in 5, or at most 6 games. They've consistently shown this year and in past years that when the games actually matter they can play team defense. They are getting Draisatl back to start the playoffs. Vegas' goaltending sucks and the Oilers beat them in 5 last year. Utah will be a deer in the headlights against the defending (2x) Western Conference champs.

    These guys crap on the oilers yearly. No matter what the oilers do in the regular season, they go up a couple of gears in the playoffs when it matters most. The pacific is the worst division statistically but it’s not like the Florida panthers made a fool of the oilers and swept them in the playoffs last two years. U can never count out the oilers when they have McD, Drai and Bouch – they are clutch in the playoffs. If we didn’t have B string goalies like, Pickard, Ingram, Jarry the oilers would win the cup this year. A hungry and desperate lion who had been hurt then last two years is far more deadly.

    These guys always look down on the Oilers. A whole lot of envy for a team that does the opposite of their beloved TO, Oiler have meh seasons, followed by SPECTACULAR playoff runs and their stars show up to the tune of top 4 in playoff history! Three guys green with envy here, they would all kill to have any of the top 4 Oil on their team McD, Drai, Bouch, & Hyms playoff performers!

    They should change how team points are awarded. 2 points for regulation win, 1 for OT / shootout win, and 0 points for SO loss / regulation loss. OT wins, is not the same as regulation win. It’s a completely different game.
