As a leaf fan I truly miss this guy. I Only wish he was able to take his regular season success into the playoffs. Even then he was Defensively great, We're feeling a Marner sized whole right now.
Both goals were slick! I thought he would have been a gilmour type player, not even close…great reg season player, but couldn’t re create reg season magic in the playoffs. Maybe in Vegas

Man i’ll always remember my first goal in midget a, it was such a big moment for me even tho it was an exhibition match against another team but they were cutting players from that bc it was part of tryouts
All you guys that dump on Marner, I really wonder if you even get hockey at all. Matthews had more SOG than any player in the IN THE PLAYOFFS. Who's job is it to score and whose job is it to get the puck to that player. Right. If you're expecting Marner to score a pile of GOALS, you don't understand the game. At all.
My favourite Marner goal was the one vs Edmonton, I beleive it was McLeod tried a pass from the corner and Marner stole it right infront of the net and dangled Skinner's jock right off.
That’s what I’ll miss the most. Those unbelievable moves and skating. Just watch the edge work. I miss you so much Mitch. You were the most fun Leaf to watch. Ever!
