Score one for the good guys! 🗽 Rangers won a meaningless game. If the Rangers have a light at the end of the tunnel, the re-emergence of Alexis Lafrieniere and Perreault must bear fruitition.

In the Eastern conference you need 102 points to make the playoffs. Buffalo can't afford to take their foot off the gas peddle yet, they need to get into the playoffs before they start 'resting themselves '.

Standing wise since Shannon did not talk about it. The Sabres have now played two more games than Tampa who are 2 points behind and Montreal who are 6 points behind. They won't fall off the top three but winning the Atlantic is now less certain. The Wings win is complicating the wildcard race.

Nothing bothers the Sabre's. The game went just the way they wanted it to. No need to peak too early and (gulp) make a run at the pres.trophy. Leave that to MacKinnon, to go along with his silver medal.
