First. I swear this team has a quota to give UCI Health a certain number of heart attack patients. Overall, really happy for Granny's hat trick, but this kind of play feels like it'll gas thrm come playoff time.

Flames trying really hard not to get tooooo many points, while also giving the players they wanna trade away this summer a bit of value by stats.
1st in the league in comeback wins. Flames had that in 2018-2019, didn't help in the first round, but you won't play Colorado until the third.
First goal he shot in a phone booth. Second he had a 2 inch window to shoot into. And the final one was two vets that knew what needed to be done. Glad we are giving dostwall a rest and not riding him to the playoffs.

Flames were truly awful in that one so that win felt lucky. Love to see the production from Granny. Hopefully we can pull out another come from behind win tomorrow. Lol.

Intense game. Granlund is on fire with 7 goals in hisast 4 games. I'm nervous though, that now everyone is gonna get injured and that's gonna screw us over.
A couple things about how good Carlson has fit in. 1. On the GWG, you can see Carlson call Granny over to set that play up. Really cool to have a defenseman that is confident enough to call something like that.
2. We are 7 for 22 (31.8%) (stat from Derek Lee) on the powerplay since Carlson has played. We might actually have a power play.

Unfortunately shooting your opponent's stick into the corner is only a penalty if the player is trying to retrieve said stick and since Minty was occupied writhing in pain on the ice it was not a penalty.

If the Ducks hold on and win the Pacific.. they would likely draw either Utah or Nashville. I think.. *tentative pause* I would prefer to see them go against Nashville. I think.
But on a fun note, with 41 wins, they FINALLY will not finish with a losing record. It has been.. way too long.
As a flames fan it was a good result! We got one tank point, and my guy Matvei Gridin scored.
