  1. I swear Doby absolutely won me over when he cried after losing that game in OT early in the season ("not good enough"), and then he comes out with "Ca va?" I love him. 🙂

  2. Veleno showing some good hustle/ physicality in our bottom six as well Bolduc exactly what s needed ☝️

  3. Tip of the hat to Dobes for helping the Habs pull 4 points out of the last 2 games against really solid teams. Huge!

  4. Did anyone else love the fight in this team tonight? Evans sticking up for Hutson….Hutson sticking up for Dobes?

These guys are stepping it up right now.

  5. That whiff by CBJ on the open net is the kind of puck luck that balances out the Matheson gaffe against the wings.. Regular season seems to find balance eventually.. playoffs tho are a different animal all together.. so glad to see big and competitive games every night.. much better that the torture of years past

  6. Rule #1 – you can't go far in the play offs without good goaltending … and it's looking promising.

  7. Dobson/matheson are logging all the big minutes and situations that marty can get them into.. thats why they are always involved in unfortunate situations/results.. and yes players do have bad games by times too

  8. Looks like Marty has figured out he can not play Gallagher. Danault also saw limited ice time.
Time for Beck Florian maybe Blais.

  9. I feel like this was our first 2-1 win of the season. It was nice to see the boys lock it down pretty good against the hottest team in the league

  10. Marco Marciano effect has Dobes well above 0.900 since he took over. Dobes also boasts a 0.667 win per game ratio, which is third best behind Brandon Bussi (?!) and Andrei Vasilevskiy.

  11. Lets ask…. if the islanders don't make the playoffs… why would Shaffer in consideration for roty??? Doby for rookie of the year!!!!

  12. Guys, it has been very real for quite some time.
New headline suggestions: The Run Continues, Back Up Depth Comes Through.

  13. Your welcome Montreal for my free criticism of the coaching methods of St.Louis .. playing Dobes the hot hand & legitimately ceasing the position & defenseive play has improved you saved your job !!! Now keep it up & park your ego & let them play, but be weary you haven't accomplished anything yet

  14. Josh, your commentary is spot on. I really hope you get an offer to be a commentator for a big outlet, as you clearly deserve it!

  15. This is a complete, detailed list of teams that will give Montreal trouble in the playoffs:

    ☺️

  16. No, Bolduc is not doing the details right on the D side and even neutral. Getting better. But when he does… it will transition to more O

  17. Guhle got his mean streak back! Love seeing Bolduc, rooting for that guy.
and they got each other's back when things get dirty

  18. Pump the breaks on best goalie as of late, he's had a good 3 weeks for sure though I'll give ya that. Always appreciate you and Eric Engels insight 🙏

  19. Xhekaj won't play again this year unless someone is hurt or needs a rest. He is definitely the 7th defenceman.

  20. I gotta disagree with your take on the Sabres. I'm more worried about them than I am about Tampa. They're not only fast and loaded with talent, they're BIG. And they play like it. They battle for each other. They also have a huge chip on their shoulder from being so unsuccessful for so long. They're gonna be a force to reckon with all the way through our 'Cup window', and if we're gonna have any hope of beating them in a 7-game series we're gonna have to get a LOT bigger and tougher I'm afraid.

  21. Montreal scores plenty of goals. They are fourth highest scoring team in the Eastern Conference. What they need to work on is their defense. Dobes is doing a great job, but they have to give him a bit more support.

If they can cut there goals against by half a goal a game, they can be at the top of the league. The future is bright!

  22. I feel Dobès should be in the conversation for the Calder. He's getting better from game to game. We now have the main key of every winning team: great goaltending.

  23. Put Arber in Veleno's place and let him be a forechecking menace to defenders like Wilson was to Carrier last year. Keep the faith and Go Habs Go!

  24. I am 61 been a Habs fan my whole life # 8 is garbage hate how everyone brags this guy up look at how many times he screws up you guys should do a survey and tell us how many times he is on the ice when we get scored on or how many times he coughs up the puck most in our end wish we could set him

  25. struble may have done well for his goal, but he made an unbelievably bad decision to stick with jenner for the columbus goal. it was glaringly obvious he should have moved to severson and left Dobes to take care of jenner. by staying on jenner it meant that Dobes had to move too much, and it opened up more of the net for severson's shot. if struble had taken severson it would have kept jenner's angle to shoot more difficult and Dobes wouldn't have needed to move as much. these are the decisions that struble gets wrong too often and they will cost us in the playoffs
