Are The Buffalo Sabres Actually BETTER Than Tampa?? ๐ | FN Barn Burner
Boomer and Rhett are joined by TSNโs Noodles to break down the battle for the top spot in the Eastern Conference, debating whether the Tampa Bay Lightning are still the team to beat or if the surging Buffalo Sabres have officially entered the conversation as a legit contender. The guys dive into whatโs driving Buffaloโs surprising success, whether itโs sustainable, and if Tampa still has another level to reach as the playoff race heats up, with plenty of strong opinions and back-and-forth on who truly owns the East right now.

Happy for Buffalo fans.
I mean we shouldnt say theyre better until they do it consistently, but holy crap are they ever getting good these boys. What an awesome development this season.

Sabres have lost home games to Montreal, Pittsburgh, Capitals & Bruins – not looking good if we get home ice advantage. You look at the last 5 games the Sabres are giving up to many high danger chances. Their puck luck is running out and both goalies are due for a slump based on the last two outings
This Buffalo phenomenon has shades of Colorado during Roy's first year behind the bench. Unfortunately, Minnesota brought them back down to earth in that first playoff round. Hopefully Buffalo doesn't make this a fluke season and keeps doing this for a while. Not even a fan of the team but you can only watch a franchise in remain in misery for so long. With the exception of Toronto, keep the cup drought eternal.
