The distance between him and the net and between the puck and the net was growing. Neither he nor the puck was moving towards (closer) to the net. This goal counting was total BS.
That's really blurring the line on "forward movement". I would be really upset if I was a Calgary fan

That horizontal movement should cancel forward progress. It is 1 v 1 already and you skate up like you have firecrackers in your skates. It is sooo beer league. This should not be allowed same as going crazy wide outside the circles. Looks more like a circus Wannabe Datsuk!!
