I have to admit… I was about to give up on this team after the Leafs game. Not showing up at home for the easiest remaining game on the most difficult schedule in the NHL—I figured they were cooked. But to overcome those two quick goals to fall behind in the third period on the road, on the tail end of a back-to-back against a team battling for first place in the East… damn. Shut me right up.
crazy how many fans are losing their minds on this team when going from picking 7th overall to WC#1 in a year is a huge accomplishment. They are to 10 in the league after being bottom 10….what more do you want?
