How about that challenge? Refs really showed us. Could have been 4-2 with pens having a powerplay. Wish Wotherspoon hadn't given the puck away early but Mackinnon may have taken the puck from him anyways. Didn't think pens played all that bad vs Av's. But they tend to lose when Malkin and Lizotte are out of the lineup. Tough schedule ahead

McGroarty plays with more sandpaper than VK. This team needs some attitude and grit right now. I'd be looking at bringing up Imama, McGroarty, and Murashov. LFG.
Honestly I'm kind of starting to think that trading Kulak for Girard was a mistake. Nothing against Girard, I like him, but the Pens really didn't need another roaming defensemen when they already have Karlsson and Letang. The Pens need a shutdown guy and they had that in Kulak.

Can you guys imagine the jealous look on Letang's face at the year end dinner when they announce Erik Karlsson MVP of the Penguins for the 2025/2026 year?! HOLY COW!!!! As it ie, it's just so detrimental to the team how Letang is playing, how his unwillingness to take constructive criticism is, and at times when Karlsson has an amazing shift where he makes a move that was great Letang the very next shift tries something to show he's still got it but blows it badly. SMH immaturity at it's finest.
I started listening to you guys a few weeks ago after the Pens blew away the Avs in Denver. Pretty good. But, man, you guys love to whine in the wake of losses to Canes and Avs. Particularly, your assessment of Carolina, their coach, and their style of play.
Any truth to the rumor that the Pens have to give back the 2017 Stanley Cup because the league just ruled goaltender interference on Patrick Hornqvist?
