Devastating Loss Ft. Alex Adams & Callum Fraser – Coming In Hot LIVE – March 24th

The Ottawa Senators delivered a massive win on Broadway but it came at a brutal cost. Injuries continue to pile up on the blue line, with Thomas Chabot and Lassi Thomson both expected to be out “for a while”, according to head coach Travis Green. With Jake Sanderson, Nick Jensen, and Dennis Gilbert already sidelined, Ottawa now faces a major defensive crisis at the worst possible time.

Tonight, the Sens head into a huge showdown against the Detroit Red Wings with a playoff spot a possibility and they’ll likely need multiple call-ups just to ice a full defence corps.

Do we see Carter Yakemchuk make his NHL debut?

We break down what the injuries mean, how Ottawa can survive this stretch, and why this next game could define their season.

Joining the show:
🏒 Alex Adams (Sportsnet)
🏒 Callum Fraser (Postmedia)

Plus — lineup projections, playoff implications, and how the Sens can respond under pressure.

  1. Bolduc's numbers look good in the A, size like Yorkie likes and +ve +/- . Maybe he should've got a call. Yak and Donovan are in the glorious -ves -30 and -12. hopefully they don't bring that at even strength. Anyway could be cooked, but tonight is a huge one sez Capt. obvious. esp with Det playing Philly 3 more times. Should be real easy, just gotta outwin Det, NYI maybe philly too by 2 wins over the next 12. To be honest I had them written off in January but they've been proving me wrong since before the Olympics. Maybe they will squeak in. missing it by 2 or 3 points will bring back nightmares of a game in Nashville awhile back but I digress. Go Sens!

  2. Not ready to give Ullmark the Spence hall pass card yet. I still don't fully trust him. Steal us tonight's game and smile more. Something that needs to be spoken about is the ying yang effect emotionally between our two goaltenders. James always positive, smiling, oozing gratitude. Ullmark complete opposite, negative, Mr. Serious face, oozing Fall Down Michael Douglas vibes at any moment. What effect does that have on the rest of the team. My hope is that Ullmark learns from Reimer to enjoy the journey a bit more and to remember to have fun. Positive vibes are infectious. 🍻

  3. Defence aside, I think a big part of tonight's game is:

    Does Brady play hard🤷‍♂️

Does he play like an elite top 50 in the league all-star player? (which is what he is)

  4. The Ottawa Senators’ record without Brady Tkachuk this season is 11–5–4.
The Ottawa Senators' record without Jake Sanderson this season is 5–2-0.

Need this pattern of finding a way to continue!

  5. Miller targeted Chabot's wrist. Dirty hit. I understand why no Sens went after him, as they are looking for the points.

  6. I think you have to get a feel early in the first period for where those two guys are at. Ive heard Donovan can actually move the puck and skate fairly well…its a matter of how will they handle the pressure.

  7. Spence and Klevin are going to have to step up big time tonight. They have been very good together so far, tonight will be a big test for them. Most important game of the season.

  8. The 4th line was probably the best line against the Rangers, they bring so much speed and relentless pace and pressure. Having Foegele and Zetterlund on the 4th line just makes that line so fast.
