  1. An underrated part of this is how he's able to still keep his head BEHIND the ball and not leak too far forward, and can still hit up at the moment of impact. At least with his drive, anyway.

  2. “And, no, you should think about all this during the swing!”
Everyone watching: will think about all this during the next swings.

  3. As always, comment and let us know what subject we should pick for our next Film Study episode?

We love your feedback and ideas.

  4. I played D1 baseball before picking up golf after graduating and the turn vs shift issue really is so key. We take a step with the front foot in baseball so changing that to a stationary stance is extremely weird to adjust to but once it clicks, you drop about 10 strokes instantly. Truly changed my game when I understood this through the pause drill. Shoutout to my fellow NY’er Cam!!

  5. Titlest Tpi channel talked about this many many times.
    1- Lateral shift
    2- Drop shoulder
    3- rotate
    4- push left leg

  6. I adopted the pause a few years ago and it's improved my game immensely.
I'm gonna shamelessly admit that I decided to pause thanks to Ben Kruper (the youtuber), but CY and Hideki also inspired me 😂

  7. This and Paddy's channel are the best on YouTube. Yet idiots with boring challenges get more views. Go figure.

  8. Great video. Ya so the real secret is that it's not really a total pause. He looks like he's just chilled up there for a sec, like a baseball hitter staying back to wait for a curveball. But while he's doing that, his whole body is actually falling back to the left like you said at the beginning. So that he can use his left leg to unleash that stored up power. When I was a stupid kid I used to think great players who 'paused' like that were stopping at a red light and then waiting till the light turns green. It's anything but that.

  9. Hi I'm looking for a reliable investor to help me make a smart investment decision. I've seen many recommendations, but I don't know who to trust. I would appreciate any opinions or personal recommendations.

  10. 3:29 or, Kids who play both, and have practice, and games more often than they're hitting the range/course. (it me~~~.)
You build up one muscle memory and your body cheats and uses the one it knows vs the one that works best for its sport.

  11. Breaking down elite performance to its finest details. The pause isn’t hesitation, it’s control, timing, and pure efficiency. Cameron Young shows how power is not just generated, but perfectly sequenced. This is where technique meets precision.

  12. 375?! Roll the ball back for professionals. Every other sport is bifurcated. Golf is already bifurcated. Professionals don't ride carts or use rangefinders. They use the one-ball rule. All other sports have different rules for professionals vs everyone else

  13. So what exactly is the order after the pause? Squat into lead foot, turn hips then chest as the hands naturally fall, and then hit the brakes before you hit the ball? Idk if I’m missing something but I felt like the order was alluded to but never mapped out.
