A Point Lost Or Gained Against Nashville? | What Would You Pay Perfetti?

There are plenty of ways to look at Tuesday night’s loss to the Nashville Predators.

On one hand, it’s a clear step back for the Winnipeg Jets in their playoff push. On the other—given how it unfolded—was it a point gained or a point lost in the 4–3 shootout defeat at Canada Life Centre?

Cam and Jim want to hear from you: how do you see it?

What’s your overall grade for the Jets’ 5-2-1 record during this eight-game homestand?

Plus, Cole Perfetti is heating up, with five goals and 11 points in his last 14 games. Is this the real Perfetti? And with the winger set to become a pending RFA, would you re-sign him or consider a trade? If you’re signing him, are you going short-, medium-, or long-term?

All that and more on today’s edition of Jets at Noon.

  1. One thing is clear Scott Arneil has zero vision or flexibility. Same lineup game after game and barely playing the young guys. It’s a joke already.

  2. If we get a proper 2C/1B it would help in offseason properly slot players. But who would come here?

    Thomas,Pettersson,OReilly,Zabinejad,Miller,Trochek whoever won't come.
You could try a RFA like Wright or Mercer,KentJohnson,McTavish but it will cost and free agent market is weak.

The draft doesn't have much Lawrence since switching NCAA hasn't done much hurt his stock,Malhotra is ok but more of middle 6 center. Also guys are drafted centers all the time Perfetti,Villardi ect and can't do it at NHL level get moved to wingers.

The guy who makes most sense idk if they would move on from him but he's a Center 24yrs RFA, is a 45-56 pt guy while behind Hughes and Hischier. Is Mercer I would do Perfetti+Lambert or pick for Mercer
    Or 3yrs x 6m perfetti. Definitely not 1-2yrs
