  1. One of those games that I can’t fault them if they lose, but they kinda have to win. This is the season tonight.

We need the big three in the lineup to have banner games: Stützle, Tkachuk and most importantly, Linus Ullmark

  2. We have lots of depth timmy says it best NEIN!!! only 9 hahahahahaha 🤣 😂 😆 🤪 😅 😜 🤣 😂 😆 🤪 😅 😜 🤣

  3. I discovered this podcast last summer and loved that Pillsy echoed many of my cautious thoughts (including let Yak develop in the AHL). I've now encountered positive Pillsy for the first time and I wish I could be that positive tonight. Yes, we dominated the Rangers last night and ended up holding on in the last minute to win 2-1 because our forwards can't score against good goalies. Now we play a much better team, on a back-to-back, away from home where we don't have last change, and our saviour is a 20 year old rookie in his first NHL game. Ross can keep quoting his offensive stats, but the first job of a defender is defense, and he's been brutal at that all year. We likely can't even pair him with a good defensive defender because we're out of them. The "next man up" cliche really doesn't mean much when you're down to your 10th & 11th depth defenseman. If there's proof the hockey gods don't like Ottawa, it's this BS right before the most important game of the season (and calling Miller childish names just doesn't make it any better).

  4. Larkin is in. If he is waiting on one clearance they will push that clearance through no matter what regardless if he's ready or not

  5. I think you run
    Kleven Spence
    Yak Zub
    Donovan Matinpalo
options are slim and Kleven and Spence I expect play 25+ minutes at 5 on 5. I think that's how they are on paper and do I think that's how they actually run them in game no I think they rotate Donovan and Yakemchuk in with either Zub, Kleven, or Spence

  6. Kleven Spence, Dono Zub, Mati Yak…Yak PP time, and the odd shift with Kleven…there is no need for the kid to be tossed into the deep end. Also, while Spence playing 25 minutes has looked good, if he can have a shift or two off and get down to 22-23 minutes, that will be fine. Yak, unless he flies out there in all 3 zones, there is no need for him to be playing 18 minutes tonight.

  7. Last night, the Rangers asked if they could have some shots, Stützle responded: Nein

Let's get a repeat performance tonight!

  8. Each of these three pairings have an offensive defenceman with a defensive defencemen & Yakemchuk who some think is weak defensively is placed with our best defensive defenceman Zub. Donovan also has some offence to his game while Matinpalo is strictly a defensive player.

    Kleven – Spence
    Yakemchuk – Zub
    Donovan – Matinpalo
