fire these refs
edit:
looking at these replies how many of you even watched the game? the reffing against montreal was atrocious. they tried everything to give the islanders a win.
Feel like that would've hit the goalies back and went in if he didnt touch it
Took a good goal off the board he leaves that alone itโs going in
It was Habs vs. Refs technically. We beat 'em
If he didnt touch the puck it would have went in anyway. I hope he got chewed out in the locker room for that. But now, no goal due to played with high stick.
Just from the skills aspect of him getting the puck into the next (even tho it was over the crossbar) I would award him the goal. ๐ฅ ๐
The mad skils to be able to skate around the net while reaching back, one handed, make a stick adjustment mid air,and put the puck in the net.
Ya know change the rule,if no one is close enough to get hit by stick let it stand man.
That was an amazing play, and it doesnt count.
He is beast
Shouldโve counted it, it looked cool
Too bad he couldn't beat the Habs alone
History again? Like losing by a touchdown and a field goal ? And a nice -2
Aerial Dangles?
Is that not considered a goal because itโs considered high sticking? Iโm not too familiar with the rules.
They need to drop the the whole stick above the crossbar rule.
No goal
High sticking
Rookie mistake. It happens.
He was also on ice for like 4 goals montreal scored i think he is supposed to be a defenseman
Impressive but it probably was going in already lol.
We really need a rule of cool in the NHL. As long as no one gets hurt, let the cool thing stand.
That stick is in the clouds
Idk might need another angle for this one
GO HABS 7-2
Would drove into his door and bent it back that woulda really screwed him ๐
Wow ๐ฏ๐คฏ
To bad cause that was awesome
One of the rare cases where high sticking shouldn't matter
Hit his goalie pad before going over the goal line
Heโs been mu new favourite player
Do you get no points for style in this unjust world?
Should get a half a goal for that
