  1. It'll be crazy if the Habs don't win at least one Cup in the next 5 years. As good as we are now, we still have a few prospects that have a good shot at being great NHLers. I hesitate to call them stars, because I've learned my lesson not overhyping prospects before they play a single NHL game. That being said, we've got some of the best prospects in the league, and if Fowler ends up being the real deal, we're going to be one of the top teams in the league for many years to come.

  2. My buddies and I were having a conversation about the habs recently. My opinion is that being under the tutelage of Martin St. Louis is absolutely perfect for these younger smaller guys. They have a coach who worked his absolute ass off to get where he was and to be a superstar. He's managed to pivot that into coaching as well. When he was hired people were shocked. And now he's running a core of guys much like himself and their performing and excelling. It's thrilling to watch. I'm a penguins fan from the time I saw Jagr, but I would absolutely cheer for Montreal throughout the playoffs

  3. Watching the Habs the last few years has been so much fun. Even at games when they’re behind, the place is so loud. The Bell has been electric the past few seasons. I hope it keeps going.

  4. How tf does Montreal struggle in the neutral zone when their method of getting through it on the rush has already been gone over? Also there is no predicting what happens with trades.

  5. Vive Montréal, vive le canadien

Keys bring our 25th home. Maybe not this year but next year!

  6. As a NYR fan I have to say that the Habs are the most fun team for me to watch, hands down. Celebrini and the other lads are stars but the Habs are absolutely stacked. Kent Hughes deserves some fleurs.

  7. As a hockey player, facing teams in the style of Mtl is more tiring than a team like Boston.

I can match the adrenaline of Boston and compensate for the intensity, but a team like Montreal breaks you down within a game not a series… by the third period, you’re gassed trying to keep up with their pure skill and speed. That’s why they’re top 3 in the league in 3rd period production.

  8. I grew up in an era where the Montreal Canadians were virtually an unbeatable team. I've seen them collapse into disarray through the decades. If you were to ask, are they a good team on a scale of 1 to 101 being awful and 10 being great. The Canadians are probably around the 4. This is a team that you don't know who's gonna show up on the ice. At any given time on any given game, they'll score 5 goals, one game, and they'll get shut out the next, and the y Lose way way way too many games in their own building. This is not a very good hockey team. Maybe in a few more years from now, they will have wised up and things will change, but for now, no, they're not a good team.

  9. Been watching the NHL since 1968 and on the offensive side they are one of dynamic teams i have ever seen!, On the Defensive side are one of the softest unstructured group of dmen i have ever seen in Habs uniforms, maybe the softest.
