I think Kyper is unfair about the Leafs' goalies. Especially Woll. They can only stop so many shots. The Leafs aleays get out by at least double. Maybe the other players need to score more. If it weren't for the goalies, they would lose by much more.

The GM has made fire able mistakes, Berube has lost the room, Nylander is un-coachable, no D-men of note, no team leaders, no assets, no draft picks, can't tank right, one decent prospect and two capable goalies when healthy. What the heck are they doing?

I really don’t understand how Kypreos can blame any leaf goalie. It doesn’t matter which team they play they get outplayed and give up grade A scoring chances. The only reason they had a good year last season was because of goaltending. It’s not hard to see why St. Louis players couldn’t wait to get rid of him.
As a goalie in the NHL you should absolutely either have that plastic dangler piece that protects your neck or a neckguard. Your stopping anywhere from 70 to 100mph slapshots or high wristshots and your doing that without any neck protection is just nuts.

Just a theory, but when Betube was hired they had probably had many conversations about how Babcock had frigged with their heads and how Keefes tenure ended very badly and against his nature he didn't want to repeat those mistakes. Or he figured out the team and their weaknesses and just was without many avenues to get them to play as a unit with pride.
I feel the big change that negatively effected this team was peeling the C off of Tavares sweater, almost like putting the failure all on him, and the teams future success all on Matthews. Don't worry about it Sammy, it's just LeaFland!

It looks like he turns his head to the right as he is bringing his glove up . But guys you're talking out of both sides of your mouth , you seemed upset that Stolarz went to to hospital and didn't just shake it off and play yet you want Knies to sit down . Bottom line what's it matter in a lost season . I totally agree they should bring up a bunch of Marlies , I know these are meaningless games so not perfect test but it would give you some indication on what you have on the farm .

There's a good chance that Stolarz didn't make the call to go get checked out and he probably didn't have a choice. Woll hasn't been the reason this team has lost a game in months. This Org and fanbase are in shambles.
