The Great Pacific Division Pillow Fight

Connor McDavid declared the NHL Pacific Division’s playoff race a pillow fight as the Ducks, Oilers and company limp into the playoffs. We discuss that race and the fascinating resurrection of the Columbus Blue Jackets by coach Rick Bowness in the Eastern Conference playoff picture. Plus, Juraj Slafkovsky shaved his head and some people made some interesting fashion choices at arenas around the league.

  1. so hello I’m Reed @ finnmafia who post the photo of the Charlie Kirk jersey, for reference, the guy was with a group of 4 people and all but the mackinnon guy were wearing VGK gear! so he was with other VGK fans

  2. The funniest thing about them picking old navy as the boring store is that they are carrying NHL gear right now

  3. As your handy german speaking listener, the german translated:
Interviewer: The question is, if the Oilers make the playoffs, can you be there with them?
Draisaitl: I hope so, that's the plan, why I'm here now. It will take a few weeks for me for sure. That's for certain ("shit fest" was "steht fest" which means directly "to stand firmly" like solid construction, and is used for saying something won't change, lol.) But I hope that we play long enough that I can help out (can't hear exactly over shit fest talk, but that's the gist).
Interviewer: Is there a concrete plan on how long you'll be here in Munich?
Draisaitl: I'll be here in Munich until Tuesday. And then yeah, then I go back home.
Interviewer: We'll cross our fingers for you. Get better soon, thank you for the quick talk.
Draisaitl: Thank you, thanks a lot.

  4. I don't gamble, but as a Devils fan I unfortunately fear this is the year Carolina breaks through and wins it

  5. With Gudas people use his “reputation” against him but he’s literally gone through 7 consecutive seasons without any issues. It’s a little overblown.

  6. One thing I hate about being a public personality is the requirement to adhere to the fan bases politics or risk losing fans.

I always stay subbed to people I disagree with because I don’t want people being coerced into being dishonest.

  7. As a Ducks fan can you just leave us to our dumpster fire? Everyone look away it’s been 7 years. Let us have this
