Unless they can somehow get Glen Gulutzan back in the off-season, which is unlikely, even if they get rid of Knob and replace him I don’t see that changing much. Best case scenario now is for McDavid to be traded to Tampa Bay or Dallas in the offseason. As for Oilers, shit is just fucked as their window of success is gone.
Knobby has one move, drai with mcdavid. It's been proven time and time again that we're better with them on different lines yet knobby keeps forcing them to play together when it's less advantageous. Not only that but we traded for Dickinson to shutdown other teams top lines yet Dickinson was hardly ever on the ice against kuch line. The team is playing like they're on life support, zero emotion and knobby doesn't even help get the team going.
