Another night in the National Hockey League where nobody seems to know what goalie interference is. The Anaheim Ducks challenge a controversial goal involving contact with goaltender Ville Husso, but the situation room rules the play “incidental,” leaving fans and broadcasters stunned. With the worst penalty differential in the league and another questionable review decision, the frustration keeps building for Anaheim. Later in the game, a nearly identical crease play is ruled no goal, raising even more questions about consistency. Plus updates on John Carlson potentially debuting, Frank Vatrano returning to the lineup, and Mason McTavish finishing the game on the fourth line as the Ducks prepare to face the Montreal Canadiens. #nhl #anaheimducks #ottawasenators #hockey #icehockey #montrealcanadiens

I don't know why but they're giving me the mid season loss streak kind of vibes 🙁
Worst part about having a young team, seeing them get absolutely tossed around the ice with zero pushback cuz our captains suspended for being an idiot 🙄
Absolutely mind boggled at how that wasnt a goalie interference call but its not like it would of mattered anyway seeing as the Ducks couldn't score one goal all game.
If it's a ref or situation room, and we are playing a East Coast team or Canadian team, 1000% it will go against the Ducks. You know who I miss, RossBoss. Without him, this team feels soft.
You could see him literally try to move to his left, but he struggles because of the interference. Like, are we serious? This was the most frustrating game when it came to the refs. Hopefully they are able to gain some traction by the end of this road trip.
Obviously a scarily bad call, but this team has just taken a few steps backwards in their play.. Sens outskated them, outfought them and our best players aren’t cutting it.. Leo looked average, Sennecke is scuffling, and you can’t expect Gauthier to convert shots at a high pct rate every night. And the search party needs to return with McT soon, and maybe find TroyTerry while they are out there. Their passing was atrocious in this one and they have trouble with the first pass trying to exit their zone.. always seem to try and pass it to a teammate that is clearly covered by an opponent, so bad judgement…? These turnovers frequently result in an odd man attack the other way.. and goals against. A playoff type game, but only one team looked playoff caliber.
The boys need to take a page out of Vatrano's book, he's small but the most down guy to throw the gloves! I think the preseason goal of making the playoffs will be reached but the boys need to harden up to win a series. Let's Go Ducks!!!
We are playing in Canada and guess what after the entire gudas thing… the judgement will be biased and they will not be on the duck side anymore, having gudas here would of brought a bit more toughness to the sens. But oh well here we go
Well this is what happens when your Captain makes a really bad decision to two of the most loved guys in hockey within a month. Then the NHL Department of Player Safety doesn’t suspend him for the rest of the season like literally everybody wanted. We are now officially the bad guys to the NHL, and if anything goes to Toronto id put serious money that no matter how blatant it is we won’t get the call.
The Ducks messed with NHL's team and NHL is pissed. But really whenever there's a play reviewed it almost always goes in the other team's favor to the point where it's hilarious.
Toronto expects the Ducks to punish Gudas like Joe Pescie in Good Fellas or something, and now that didn't happen, well….
Everything that could've gone wrong for the Ducks this game, went wrong
We will not be getting calls going our way, because of the Gudas Suspension Fiasko, it’s a huge egg on the face of the NHL and we will pay for it.
But yeah, let’s hope this doesn’t spiral out of control
revenge from Canadians to Americans…. I never thought that they gave here a goal especially after they were that fast on the video room, never.
the 2nd interference I thought if they would challenged it, it would overturned as a goal too… bc its against the Ducks…
all in all bad refs, 4-5 missed calls or bad calls.
McT is still the worst contract in history, not even tradeable now with that…
As a Sabres fan I totally understand your frustration with bad goalie interference calls. As always another great video, I don't usually comment but today I had to say that was a huge missed call and I hope there were chants to the refs to remind them they suck lol
Refs making the game about them.
Something that worries me is how bad this team looks when teams get super physical with them like this game.
I’m sure it’ll be part of the scouting report for other teams when the playoffs roll around….worrisome
When the goalie comes out of the box its not goalie interference. Clearly this wasnt interference. The goalie is only protected inside the paint. Its just a mistake on the goalie. This is a pretty dumb video.
Oh there's a reason why, @duckmylife. One of the refs that were officiating that night was from, you guessed it, Ottawa, ON! There was clearly bias in the official rulings. Same with Montreal. How else do you see Sennecke get an "embellishment" call. It's a clear 2 minute minor if it was any other team. #League loves to find ways to keep us down.
A similar one happened in the recent Pens-Rangers game. That one was considered GI though.
Ok, @Duckmylife check the highlights from the Flames/Blues game, and count the disallowed goals!!!
But the other thing I wanted to talk about is the World Junior hockey championships in Edmonton, and Red Deer starting the day after Christmas 2026, and the World Cup of Hockey in Calgary, Edmonton, and I believe Prague Czechia, in February 2028.
It would be very cool if you could report from the province Alberta, for any of these games.
😎
Penguins get screwed on this all the time too
