Dobes and Wifi and call up Reinbacher to rest one of the tired D. I think we also have a defensive coach change out this summer… so much wrong with the way this team plays defence. Reinbacher not difficult at all. Give him a taste and Carrier a rest; let's see what Arber looks like with Ghule on the third pair… and let's also see Hitson and Reinbacher together as was hinted when he got drafted…
Guhle should be looked at as tradeable asset , I like him and maybe he bounces back next season because I think the injury is holding him back , he was great at start of season but now feels meh
Xhekaj … spend the summer with David Savard and figure it out , love this guy but positioning is so bad , absolute feels he has a place on last pairing , the way he was eyeing Viel
Carrier should have been traded , like the guy but it’s a sell high moment as RD , one of his best scoring for his career

Struble is pretty good , I’m not sure what you can get , it’ll be like Kovacevic where it’s more apparent th value once on another team
Really wanted Habs to get McKenzie weegar , don’t know what else is out there for RD that hits and blocks and can be that defensive anchor , I think asking a lot of Matheson

The Canadians will not make the playoffs my main concern from the start of the season was too many puck carrying defenceman and not enough defensive minded defenceman

For Reinbacher , I'd bring him and see how he responds just so we know what we got. Give Hughes and Gorton an idea what we have and don't.
Temper expectations, not sure what he can really do, it's more than a D replacement to fix the defensive woes
Who gives two bits about Dach. The dude is exhausting. I’ve grown to dislike him. He shouldn’t be a pro athlete. Play in Europe or Russia dude. I’ll be glad when he’s gone. Tired of hearing his name.
Guhle 33 hits 5 points in 21 games avg TOI 17-20 min +- (-3) since he’s been back. Struble 19 hits 4 points in 7 games avg TOI 8-10 min. +- (0).
The Habs needs a defensive coach.. David Savard should be useful to mentor the young guys ..a familiar face , veteran Cup winner.. should be considered

Whatever happens from here is all on HuGo. If Dobson continues to suck defensively…well, who vastly overpaid to bring him in on a long-term deal? If Dach is out down the stretch, same question. If Carrier gets knocked off a puck leading to a loss…that's HuGo. If Bolduc does nothing but takes a bad penalty…HuGo's choice. At the same time, if Slaf wins us a game or two, or Demi comes up huge, credit HuGo. It's their team. Suzuki/Caufield have nothing to do with it, cause they're Bergie guys. If the HuGo boys don't get it done, that's all on HuGo.
We need Patrik Laine. He scores like Ovechkin from the same spot.
Earlier in the season, despite strong heavy teams exposing Mtl. They were a little sharper and faster and able to maintain puck control. I think with this schedule they are getting worn down and turnovers are more of a problem as well.
Man on man isn't working
Man on man defensive coverage is the problem, need to play zone defence but too late to change now – need a complete over haul in the off season with a new defence assistant coach to implement the new system.

You don't put a rookie under that type of pressure !! Not fair he's not a fighter not a banger average shot what are you thinking????
One thing that annoys me to no end is how management, and most fans, think the players are the problem. We added Danault to help defensively…and it made no difference. Guhle came back from injury…and it made no difference. Yes, it would be nice to have a big bruising stay-at-home D in the Top-4…but the real problem is: the D coaches, namely Robidas and Letowski. Their PK setup is a joke (small box, no pressure on the puckholder) and they're a positioning mess at even strength. For God's sake, I'm tired of screaming it at the top of my lungs for over 2 years: the D coaches, ROBIDAS AND LETOWSKI ARE INCOMPETENT AND NEED TO BE FIRED.
They need to bring up Pascal Vincent. He is a real coach, and get rid of pee wee Marty.
They are not going anywhere with such a soft line-up and Mike “ Give away” Matheson as you no 1 defenseman according to pee wee Marty.
