The Panthers have beaten the Oilers in the past two Stanley Cup Finals but were 0-1 against Edmonton prior to Thursday’s win.
Bobrovsky had 21 saves for his fourth shutout of the season. Cole Reinhardt, A.J. Greer, Anton Lundell, and Carter Verhaeghe all scored.
Mike Benning, playing against his hometown Oilers for the first time, had assists on Florida’s first two goals. Sam Bennett and Evan Rodrigues also had two assists.
The Panthers visit Calgary on Friday to wrap up the four-game road trip.
