They are already hyping up next year's draft. Seems to be a growing trend. Getting McKenna would be awesome, but Rangers are going to get a very good player no matter what. They might go D as there are a lot of good ones. Getting a high pick will be a luxury for Lilley as he has not had a lot of really high 1st rounders to select from.
Reid or Carels are offensive D that can disrupt like Quinn so they could be solid picks
