This is RIDICULOUS for the (NHL) Hall of Fame to lay claim to the "gold medal" goal scoring puck. Frankly, I don't know how they ever got it. FIRST and foremost, the puck should go to the shooter who scored the goal — OR, since the players are technically NOT playing for themselves or "under contract" to any team but are instead VOLUNTEERING to REPRESENT their countries, game memorabilia such as the game-winning goal puck OUGHT to be the property of the COUNTRY and/or TEAM for whom the individual was playing. So, if the puck belongs to ANY "museum" in lieu of the player that scored the goal (which still should be the #1 option), that museum would properly be the U.S. Olympic Committee Museum (if they have one) or the USA Hockey Museum. BUT UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should the Pro Hockey (NHL) Hall of Fame in Toronto have been given the puck (unless the puck was given to Jack Hughes and HE CHOSE to loan it to the Pro Hockey [NHL] Hall of Fame ) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'd like to know WHO even gave the puck to the NHL/Pro Hockey Hall of Fame in the first place, and BY WHAT AUTHORITY ???????? Did that person or entity (e.g., was it the IOC or the Italian Olympic Commitee of the 2026 Olympic Games) SELL the puck to the HoF in Toronto — and if so, for HOW MUCH $$$$ ?????????????????????????????????????? I think the USOC, USA Hockey, and Jack Hughes all together ought to SUE the Hockey HoF forthe return of the puck that's rightfully the property of any of them but definitely NOT the NHL Hall of Fame !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Moreover, all NHL players ought to stand with Jack Hughes and REFUSE to ever give the NHL Hall of Fame any more memorabilia of theirs to display unless/until the HoF gives Hughes the puck.

If it doesn't "belong" to Jack Hughes, the puch belongs to the U.S. Olympic Committee OR U.S.A. Hockey … NOT the admissions-charging Hall of Fame in Toronto. If Hughes wants to DONATE (or even sell) the puck to the HoF, that's HIS business.

There is a USA Hockey Hall of Fame in Edina Minnesota. Give Jack the puck and he can "loan" it for display wherever he wants.

That puck has no business in Chinada. If anything, it should be in the US HoF.
