The Buffalo Sabres are ROAD WARRIORS, shutting out Sharks in stellar Alex Lyon performance

The Buffalo Sabres are playing like the best team in the NHL when on the road, winning 19 of their last 22 away from KeyBank Center, gathering points in 11 of their last 12, and Alex Lyon has his own road win streak going with 10 (one off the NHL record). It’s the second game in a row where the home team couldn’t score a single goal on the Sabres, as Lyon shuts out the San Jose Sharks, in a game he was tested early.

Lyon gave the Sabres enough time to find their groove, and once they got going, it’s was over for the Sharks. Noah Östlund, Rasmus Dahlin, and Sam Carrick all scored within two minutes of each other in the 2nd period.
