Coming from the Ducks side of it, I would definitely have to take some serious time to consider Knies for McT and Minty. With the overstock on D prospects in the pipeline, Minty is expendable… A lot of Ducks fans are probably worried that McT might be traded and then become what Zegras has been this year for Philly, but for me personally, I was hoping he was getting packaged up to STL for Robert Thomas on deadline day, so I'm open to moving him as well. If I'm Pat Verbeek, I might want a sweetener coming back with Knies, so either a mid-level prospect or a mid-round pick if I'm sending both McTavish and Mintyukov who both have a ton of upside still. Long story short, I'd at least answer the phone and consider it from an Anaheim standpoint.
Anaheim is stockpiled with tons of young skilled players.

Mathews now or gone for nothing. Trade with teams loaded with prospects. That is why McTavish is available. Need some with upside and low cap hits. Since Kirill signed that monster contract teams will have a harder time locking up players.
Matthews for Bedard 8 years 150 million would be bomb. Both teams would notice immediate revenue increase, and both players would become more marketable. Two hudge markets in the bussiness of making money, draft day could be the day that changed hockey. 🦫
Left a comment but it seemingly vanished. Tavares was bottom 5 in the NHL in plus minus this year. Look it up. Brad Treliving should be fired he should not be making any more trades.
As much as I like those 2 players I hope TOR never trades Knies, he is my favorite Leaf!
Rielly has to go no matter what , period he is a defensive liability every single game.
Shop Matthews and Nylander around , if a great offer comes up that fits into the Knies, Danford, Cowan time table for a Cup comes up take it and run.
Jarnkrok also can NOT be around next year and tie an anchor to Domi and toss it in lake Ontario please.
Willy to Anaheim for MacT, Minty & Luneau. Knies & Carlo to Habs for Hage, Beck, Zharovsky and Enstrom. I’d like to see Leafs see what it takes to get Shane Wright out of Seattle.
If Nylander leaves… The Leafs are done because as far as Leaf pride goes, only Nylander and Tavares, maybe Domi too, really have it.
The Sam Pollock rule still applies. I can’t see a world where trading Mathews, Nylander, or even Knies makes any sense.
Trade Knies and I'm done, he's the future leafs Captain we need.
