I think he will be good when starting the playoffs because this same happened last year when the oilers were near the postseason, that time both mcdavid AND draisatil weren’t ready yet they were good
Injury was mostly likely Olympic tweaked, that hit angle finally made it make it mandatory time to sit out to heal or reduce the potential to miss the entire playoffs…
ORRR they want him 100% for this playoffs and are just making him take an extra week or so to be sure he is ready. We need as many ppl at 100% as possible to beat the Eastern teams this year.
They also may be just giving him the full end of the season to rest while knowing he should be ready earlier… just to MAKE SURE he’s fully ready come playoffs… instead of rushing him in for end of season and risking him reinjuring himself.

Draisaitl had an insane playoffs with a broken foot. He'll be fine.

Just shut him down so hes ready for post season. Unless they need him back earlier. NBA does it all the time
Even if he's suddenly ready in the next two weeks, I'd just have him sit out until playoffs.
This is the season from hell. I dont see that it matters. Nurse needs to be sent packing this summer.
I have WhatsApp and I talk to Leon every day on there and he's doing well and the plan is for him to return to the lineup of the playoffs
