A lot of tough games left. 7 of the 14 games left are against teams currently in playoff position. Plus, about 3 against teams that are a close like Ottawa. The good thing is that 10 of the 14 are at home.
Gonna be a grind. Just hope we have enough players that are willing to grind it out. Darche did address that to an extend. A more playoff ready lineup. Not as many perimeter players.
ahl cup of coffee for eiserman. dude needs to show he can score at pro level. troubling–9. and numbers didn't improve on a weaker bu team this past season so does eiserman need the talent boost to succeed?
meanwhile t o talking heads are out of laff talk and talked up a hypothetical isles should trade 48 for ? trade. meanwhile darche still needs to take that swing for big time scoring help. word is bedard people aren't happy with the hawks still stuck in the mud and coached by a horrible coach. take a swing at rfa bedard darche. or go after rfa robertson.
I look forward to seeing what happens to Eiserman, Eklund, and Aitechson in Bridgeport/Hamilton next season, hopefully they all show significant strides in their development. I have watched film on all three and they all have work to put in, since there won't be any available roster openings on the big club next season, all three can focus on tightening their individual games.
I dont see why it gets complicated after Eiserman goes to training camp as far as what comes next for him. Either he will earn a roster spot and break through with the big boy club, or he will be sent down to the AHL to start the 2026-27 season for some more pro seasoning while potentially being available for a callup or to earn a promotion mid season depending on his play
Too bad they Islanders didn't get Cole Porter. He'd write a bunch of great tunes if he were still alive
Definitely want eisermann and aitcheson to start next season in the ahl. Gain some valuable experience. Main club is too crowded right now
