Did you know that Leafs and Habs games are blacked out all through Atlantic Canada, because of course everyone there goes to their games "just down the street". For the love of God, what is behind the blackout the Maritimes plan? I guess they want the Maritimes to cheers for the Bruins or Flyers instead? One of my bet peeves is , after a whistle after a goalie save, all of this pushing, shoving, what have you. The first guy to come in from anywhere comes in all tough, just drop the gloves and start feeding the guy! You're tanking, so who gives a shit about any inept refs call, tanking anyway, DO it every time, message gets spread around real quick!
Had few days to think about the Matthews/Gudas thing and the suspension. How would the culture accept the offending team paying the injured players wages while they are out, and having the punishment get added to their cap? 5 games for knocking out the captain is laughable. But not dressing a few veterans for the rest of the season and having to play ohl callups to make cap would impact making the post season or missing it. Gotta be some punitive punishment besides waiting for the toothless league to slap wrists.

Welcome to my Nightmare from NS. 75% of Leafs games are blacked out. Funny thing is, the only feed I got last night that was stable was a Russian feed. Game was the SN feed but with a Russian commentary. In the background I could hear the SN commentary in the background. A few more games like this and I'll be learning Russian..lol

The Death March has started…..Stark reality,…. this is not an injury issue….as Pelley wrote…..it's a lack of talent, draft picks, and prospects issue. Team has no nucleus to build on. Matthews and Nylander are no longer bright young Stars…their lack of character has been exposed time and time again….Leafs are looking at another 4-5 year rebuild….and every Offseason they don't realize it, adds more time to that rebuild.
