We're in a lil bit of a slump rn but we just gutta get the shooting back up dont over think u if u got a shot rip it
After going out in the 2022 season, many fans felt like they had to let go of the idea that Gabe would ever play again. Now it's 2026 and he's still SO DAMN GOOD that they're scratching their heads without him. Compared to the knee, this recent gonads injury (thanks again Cale!) is a cakewalk to wait for.
Considering what could have been if not for Landy's miraculous recovery, having the remedy just around the corner is a great luxury, but at the same time his absence seems to expose major underlying leadership/structure problems in the team. Yes, every team falters without their captain, but this team's stats without him are absurd.
Still, LOC, Lehky and Gabe coming back very soon will resolve all the center/wing issues and inject all the balls (sorry again Gabe) Colorado needs.
I don't blame the goalies in this one. Maybe a couple you'd want back but there were too many defensive mistakes, a short handed breakaway. But.. Worried I am not
Take MacKinnon off of PP1. Having opponent fans take over Ball Arena is unacceptable. When will he admit the PP is bad. In practice today I got to watch Burns son. Can he be dropped into the lineup. 😊
I honestly believe that the Avs should spend a game or two with the 3rd line guys (grinders) on the powerplay… It will send a message to the top guys, take some pressure off the stars and maybe just get things going… What we're doing is miles away from working well ..
Missing 4 important forwards have been tough. We’re blowing defensive assignments left and right. I think we’ll be incredible when atleast 3 of the 4 are back but right now it’s just weathering the storm. Feel bad for the goalies with the turnovers we’re coughing up lately.
Some observations: Blackwood has lost every game he’s played in since returning from the Olympic break. I think at one point he was 7/21. Horrible. PP is so bad it has to be a coaching problem. Waaaay too much passing and trying to make the pretty goal. Kadri needs to be a center again. And yes, Gabe is out with Leky and LOC, Colton. But Dallas is missing huge key players and they still look overwhelming dominant. Better fix this fast or Bednar is out because Avs will lose in first round.
Hakstol must have Epstein level blackmail on the avs management, watching other teams make coaching changes all season and the avs doing nothing is brutal

Worst Beating all year. Geeeez. They better start getting hot or they will be out the first series. Dallas will Cool them.
Not playing anywhere near as dominant the first 50 games and they're struggling bad to get it back! Definitely beatable in a 7 game series right now.
Burnsy seems to be fizzling out. Needs a week off to get him rested.
The goalies stood on their heads and made game changing saves early in the year to win games for the team, to put the Avs in the position they are in. It is time for the out players to give them some love back and start winning some games again.

Bednars a great coach. He’ll do what’s needed to sharpen up the team in time. Mandatory practice is a must imo. Started saying this after the prior game. No speed or skating drills of course. But low output drills like passing and shooting are a must. And I’d even go as far as to put the 2nd pp out for full speed drills. Again for passing and play making. I could get better results by implementing simple stuff. Gotta practice to sharpen the blades.. it’s just not good enough. And using games to get better might end very badly….
Blood and guts are gonna be needed in this year's playoffs. The Avs didn't get a tough guy. Is Manson gonna fight every series? I see the one guy in the audience politely saved his question until last ☁️😎😂
