If there was a season they played in the wrong conference this is the one bc IF they played in the west, they would be entrenched in 7th seed with a high probability of the playoffs, the season and the rebuild in general would be viewed in a much better light… That said (as Charlie would say), their offensive struggles along with being last in PP yet once again is rather worrisome and I can't help but look at the coaching for the lacking on offense !!!
Much easier to teach playing defense than score goals 🥅🤷
PTS% is such a BS stat in today’s loser point mentality NHL. Here is their real record. They are 19-23 in regulation … which in every other sport gives them a .452 winning percentage. Until they start doing 3v3 OT and shootouts in the playoffs, they are irrelevant in determining the quality of a team. Good teams win games in regulation!

That Mullica Hill tornado was awful. That said most recovery projects have seemed successful (at least the ones that happened heh)

I don’t trade the first this year if you can’t use it for a center or D man, this team has so many needs you have to draft BPA and keep drafting the management won’t but that’s what they need to do
Tocchet isn’t able to adapt to the team. He can only coach one way. Yawn. Yes, he does have a history of problems w Russian players. That’s an issue if the team want’s Zavagrin here. Meanwhile, we should be signing Vitali Pinchuk asap.
I’m hoping Danny is going to try to finally get Bowen Byram for 1D. He could be the big signing on 7/1. We better trade for a 1C. Thomas, Berniers, Pettersson, Mctavish, or potential 1C Wright or Kasper. There are options out there.
